Opening of the session

The chairman welcomes all the active members and requests them to enter their votes directly at the bottom of this report.

Assessment of the quorum

The chairman acknowledges that all active members have been invited, within the period stipulated in the articles of association, to participate at this years General Assembly. The invitation was sent out by email on the 16th of May 2016.

Annual report 2015

During the year;

  • the board has updated and maintained the Association website and support forum;
  • the board has developed a financial plan to allow an increased investment in development resources;
  • the board has decided to hold the third International SQL-Ledger Network Conference in Zürich on Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of October.

Financial Report 2015

The total income in 2015 was CHF 400 and the total expenses were CHF 290. On the 31st of December 2015 the International SQL-Ledger Network Association held a total of CHF 8.074 at the Postbank in Bern, CHF 200 in accounts receivable and had liabilities amounting to CHF 6.966.

The existing funds were used according to budget in 2015 and the Association was able to meet all its financial obligations.

Auditors report

The auditors report can be downloaded here. The audit took place on the 17th of May 2016. The conscientious and proper cash management of the board was confirmed.

Discharge

The board was granted relief unanimously and without abstention.

Assessment of Membership fee 2016 for active members

The membership fee for active members remains 100 CHF per year.

Declaration of budget 2016

The Assembly declares that the annual budget should be based on the income of the Association and primarily be used for the further development of the SQL-Ledger project and for the execution of the its yearly Network Conference.

Election of Board and Auditor

  • Sebastian Weitmann is elected member of the board for 4 years.
  • Thomas Brändle is elected member of the board for 3 years.
  • Armaghan Saqib is elected member of the board for 2 years.
  • Jan-Eric Lundström is elected auditor for 1 year.

Change in Articles of Association

The board proposes a change to § 5 of the Articles of Association. Paragraph 5 relates to membership expiration and following an acceptance of the proposed change, it would become more clearly linked to the payment of the associations membership fee.

New proposed wording (in German):

Die Mitgliedschaft erlischt wenn der letzte von der Generalversammlung festgesetzte Mitgliederbeitrag nicht bis zum 30.04. auf das Vereinskonto einbezahlt worden ist.

Nomination of the SQL-Ledger Community Contribution Award Winner 2015

Miguel Santos is nominated for the SQL-Ledger Community Contribution Award 2015 for his persistent administrative work and support.
